Din Standard Mortice Sashlock - 900 Series

Description: A Euro profile DIN standard Mortice Sashlock. It is suitable for Sprung and most Unsprung lever furniture and features include: a nickel plated solid brass easily reversible guided latchbolt, a zinc alloy single throw deadbolt with 20mm projection (high copper content for additional strength), a mild steel/black powder coated finish Case which is pierced to accept bolt through furniture and Escutcheons with 3 8mm Centres, a 8mm zinc alloy Follower (high copper content for additional strength) with sopindle gripping feature. This DIN Standard latch has a 60mm Backset and 72mm centres. Supplied with stike plate to match and all standard fixings.

Special Instructions

DIN locks are commonly refered to as specification locks, as they allow for faster workshop preparation, as all Cases within the range are of the same size. They are larger than standard uk lock Cases and therefore allow for a more asthetically pleasing look when used with lever on Rose furniture, as the Centres (72mm) are further apart than the standard 57mm UK Centres. Also allows easier use for special needs customers, and therefore ensures compliance with the Disability Discrimination Act.
