DIN Standard Bathroom Lock - 800 Series

Description: A Euro profile DIN standard bathroom lock. It is suitable for sprung and heavy sprung door furniture and features include: a stainless steel, guided, easily reversible latch bolt, heavy duty deadbolt (20mm projection), 8mm follower with spindle gripping feature, 8mm bathroom turn follower with a 5mm sleeve (suitable for 8mm & 5mm turns), mild steel case, and suitable for bolt through furniture and Escutcheons at 3 8mm bolt Centres. This Din standard bathroom lock has a 60mm backset and 7 8mm centres. Supplied with strike plate to match and all standard fixings. Available in three finishes.

Special Instructions

DIN locks are commonly refered to as specification locks, as they allow for faster workshop preparation, as all cases within the range are of the same size. They are larger than standard uk lock cases and therefore allow for a more asthetically pleasing look when used with lever on rose furniture, as the centres (7 8mm) are further apart than the standard 57mm UK centres. Also allows easier use for special needs customers, and therefore ensures compliance with the Disability Discrimination Act.
