Description: A Single action spring hinge that closes the door via the spring in the hinge. Available in three finishes and three sizes. The hinge is made from mild steel plate. Supplied with standard fixings including Allen key for the adjustment of the spring tension (with use of the locking pin) dependent on the closing requirements. Item Priced as singles.

Special Instructions

The 102mmx7 5mm and 8 8mmx8 8mm are fire tested to EN1634-1 suitable for 1/2 fire doors and for door weights up to 38kgs. The 102mmx102mm are fire tested to EN1634-1 suitable for 1 hour fire doors and for door weights up to 60kgs. Two spring hinges are required for 44mm 1/2 hour fire doors. Two spring hinges AND a SLAVE hinge is required for 54mm 1 hour fire doors. It must be noted that the SLAVE hinge is purely for weight carrying and does NOT operate as a spring hinge.
